The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) is the professional association for 20,000 Chartered Legal Executive lawyers, paralegals and other legal practitioners in England and Wales. In the last 25 years, over 100,000 people have pursued a successful career in law through vocational learning with CILEx. The Chartered Institute is unique in being a non-university learners route to qualification as a lawyer, although graduates are welcomed and the Graduate Fast-track Diploma gives law graduates intending to practise law a more affordable and viable alternative to the LPC.
